Your initial therapeutic massage includes an additional 15 minutes for a comprehensive health interview to discuss your concerns, understand your treatment goals, and perform any relevant orthopedic assessments.

75 minute appointment includes: 15 minute assessment, 60 minute massage
105 minute appointment: 15 minute assessment, 90 minute massage

Therapeutic massage uses evidence-informed techniques and a client-centered approach to support your physical wellness goals, whether you're seeking pain or tension relief, symptom management, or improved mobility. 
Each treatment is tailored to your individual needs and may include client feedback or gentle, resisted movements to help optimize results. With your informed consent, intra-oral treatment may also be incorporated when addressing temporomandibular joint (TMJ) dysfunction or related symptoms.

Follow-up Therapuetic Massage

Soothing massage techniques are applied with rhythmic, moderate pressure to help calm the nervous system and promote deep relaxation. Performed in a peaceful environment with minimal conversation, this treatment allows you to fully unwind, embrace the stillness, and enjoy every moment of your experience.

Techniques may include myofascial release, Swedish massage (including effleurage and petrissage), gentle passive stretching, and manual lymphatic drainage when appropriate to your individual needs.

Relaxation Massage

Rhythmic massage techniques are applied using moderate to firm pressure, beginning in the superficial layers of tissue to gradually warm the muscles and encourage them to release held tension. As the tissues soften, focused work is directed toward areas of chronic tension, hypertonic muscles, and trigger points to help restore mobility, reduce discomfort, and improve overall function. Pressure is always adjusted to your comfort level and tailored to your individual needs and preferences.

Techniques may include myofascial release, sustained trigger point therapy and muscle stripping using the forearms, elbows, knuckles, or reinforced thumbs and fingers, passive stretching, and pin-and-stretch techniques.

Deep Tissue Massage

Experience deep relaxation with the gentle, rhythmic touch of Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD). This soothing treatment uses light, flowing massage to encourage the natural movement of lymphatic fluid towards major drainage sites, while promoting a sense of calm and renewal. Passive joint movements may also be incorporated to support lymphatic flow.

Ideal for those seeking a restorative massage experience, MLD may help ease mild swelling, reduce feelings of heaviness, and leave you feeling refreshed and revitalized.

Treatments can be customized to target specific areas or enjoyed as a full-body wellness experience.

Manual Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Prenatal massage offers expectant mothers a nurturing and supportive treatment, designed to promote comfort and relaxation throughout pregnancy. Each massage is tailored to your individual needs, with pressure adjusted to your comfort level. Massage can help reduce stress, ease the aches and pains commonly associated with pregnancy, and promote overall well-being. Gentle manual lymphatic drainage may also be incorporated to help reduce swelling (edema) in the feet, legs, and arms.

For your comfort and safety, massage of the back, glutes, hips, and backs of the legs is performed in a side-lying position. Supportive pillows are carefully positioned to provide stability and ensure you remain comfortable throughout your treatment.

When receiving massage in a face-up (supine) position, you will be supported in a semi-reclined position using pillows, or a pillow may be placed beneath your right hip to gently tilt the pelvis. These positioning techniques help ensure your comfort while allowing treatment to be provided safely during pregnancy.

Prenatal Massage (Side-Lying)

Postpartum massage can begin as early as 2 weeks after delivery, provided your healthcare provider has approved your return to massage therapy.

Your baby is welcome to accompany you during your appointment and may remain in a bucket seat beside the treatment table.

Massage can support your recovery by promoting relaxation, reducing stress, and encouraging time for self-care during the postpartum period. Therapeutic techniques may also help relieve muscle tension and discomfort commonly associated with caring for a newborn, feeding, and the physical demands of pregnancy and birth.

For mothers who have delivered by cesarean birth, gentle abdominal massage and myofascial techniques may be incorporated after 8 weeks postpartum, once healing is well established and appropriate for your stage of recovery. These techniques can help improve tissue mobility and address discomfort around the incision area.
